Last week we correctly predicted our NFL Draft bets would begin to wither away - woohoo! We recommended Rashawn Slater to be the first offensive lineman drafted. It was once +350 but he is now +200. I don’t like the bet at the current price but if you were sharp enough to jump last week, kudos.
Moreover, a huge bet recommendation last week was Ronald Acuna NL MVP. He was +600 (14.29% implied) last Thursday night on PointsBet. He is now the clear favorite at +300 (25% implied). 11% value gain and a 3:1 increase are huge for season-long bets like this. We are off to a rockin’ start in 2021!
The Official Gaming Today Mock Draft Is Live!
We are now 7 days away from the NFL Draft, and betting odds are increasingly moving out of range. I created the NFL Mock Draft for the sports bettor.
I calculated the average expected draft slot for each player. I incorporated team needs into my decisions and then added the best odds on this to happen. It is worth noting that I added a trade for Justin Fields. Keep note of this because the odds of him going to a specific team are fantastic on FOX Bet.

UFC 261 Best Bets: Sportsbooks Are Sleeping On Jessica Andrade
UFC 261 is here, and I am beyond excited for fans to be back in the arena. I have tracked my UFC betting in 2021 and I am +96 units on UFC alone. That does not include a $2000 win on a free bet which hit last December in 2020. Needless to say, I am very much invested in UFC action. +950 and it is the first bet I am writing about. My betting models do not project Andrade to win this by decision at 9.5% implied. My models have it closer to 16% implied (+500 odds). The near 7% disagreement with betting odds has me salivating at a potential payday.
Weili Zhang By KO Or Points -152 (PointsBet Sportsbook)
I have taken out Zhang’s least likely win condition giving me a -210 favorite (67.74% implied) at -152 (60% implied). Grab that number before it is gone, Zhang is a better fighter than Rose. Thug Roses’ best chance at a victory is submission thanks to Zhang’s crazy output. Rose is unlikely to win a decision.

Florida Inching Closer To Sports Betting? Alabama Wants In, Too!!

Roll Tide? Alabama residents have been saying it for years - maybe centuries - but now they may be able to put their money where their mouth is. Alabama is attempting to legalize sports betting by May 30th. It will be interesting to see if that reality in time for the Alabama Crimson Tide football season.
