Gaming Today Playbook: TNF Props | MA Sports Betting | CFB Betting Previews
Betting picks by sports bettors for sports bettors.
Out with the losses, in with the wins!. After a tough week 8 that featured our first losing week of the season, we turned in one of our better weeks. Including the newsletter and my weekly player props article, we were 5-3.
If you follow my Twitter account, there was another bet added that I was unable to put out on the weekly Friday prop betting picks piece. Sportsbooks are very slow getting lines out. If you tailed it, put our record at 6-3 for the week. Jordan Love’s rushing yards prop which was 8.5 and easily hit in the first quarter. We profited 2.15 units last week.
The solid results last week put us at 46-33 on the season with 18.61 units of profit.
Ravens vs. Dolphins: TNF Player Prop Bets
Lamar Jackson Over 9.5 Rushing Attempts -105 (DraftKings)
Lamar Jackson had a whopping 21 rushing attempts last week. With Latavius Murray out again this week, the backfield of Devonta Freeman and Le’Veon Bell does not inspire much confidence at all. Lamar to get double digits is my best bet for Thursday.
Marquise Brown 2+ Touchdowns +750 (FanDuel)
“Hollywood” Brown has been a different player this season. The Dolphins’ defense is terrible and gives up the third-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts. We are taking a shot here but at +750 FanDuel is offering much better value than the competition who hovers around +500 for this prop.
Massachusetts Hopeful For A Sports Betting Vote
As a consistent traveler to Massachusetts, I would love if sports betting could be legalized sooner rather than later. Well, Gaming Today’s Rebecca Hanchett has been covering this story for months and we could finally be coming to a resolution.
Per Rebecca, Sen. Eric Lesser believes that Senate floor action could be close for Massachusetts sports betting. There have been tons of issues with delays to bring sports betting to the Old Colony State.

Live From Weehawken, NJ: The DraftKings National Sports Betting Championship
The DraftKings National Sports Betting Championship was in Weehawken this past weekend and I was present for the event which was fascinating from many angles. First, DraftKings had technical difficulties on Friday so they refunded all the participants in the tournament.
The tournament went on as planned but some players had ridiculous betting limits of $25 when everyone else had a $4,500 starting bankroll. Once again betting limits came into question as a topic of conversation.
I sat down with DraftKings’ Johnny Avello at the event to discuss betting limits.
